Enabling Love is a non profit organisation based in Dunedin and formed in early 2018. It is run by Josh Perry, a business and marketing graduate and socialite, alongside his mother, a Disability Studies lecturer and advocate.

We understand the unique challenges that effect members of the Disability community when it comes to meeting others and forming friendships or relationships. In response to an expressed need by members of the Disability community, we decided to set up our own inclusive service – Enabling Love and Friendship (ELF). Enabling Love aims to provide a safe environment for individuals to meet new friends and form new connections and relationships.

What We Do

Since its inception, Enabling Love has run events such as speed dating nights, movie nights and valentines day events. We also run weekly coffee/social clubs in various cities across New Zealand. Becoming a member of Enabling Love also gives you access to our website where you can create a profile and continue to access the Enabling Love community online. With constant new members and continuing support for couples, the future of Enabling Love is bright!
